- Vahan Portal — Hypothecation Termination If your vehicle had a loan, remove the hypothecation from your RC before scrapping. Apply on the official Vahan portal.

How It Works
Find Center
Locate a registered vehicle scrapping facility near you using the state search.
Submit Vehicle
Visit the center with your vehicle and documents. The RVSF helps you complete the scrapping application (Form 2) and verifies your details.
Get Certificate & Incentive
Receive your Certificate of Deposit (COD) with scrap value transferred to your bank account. Claim benefits on your next vehicle or trade the COD.
